Emergency Medical Fundamentals

The fight isn't over when the shooting stops.

If you carry a firearm, you should carry a tourniquet. The same skills that win a defensive encounter — calm under pressure, methodical decision-making — apply to the person bleeding on the floor afterward. This Stop the Bleed-aligned class teaches you to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply a tourniquet to extremities, pack a wound on the torso, and manage shock until EMS arrives. Hands-on with real tourniquets, real gauze, and a training wound. Build a kit you'll actually carry, learn to use it under pressure.

Who it's for

Shooters, families, church and corporate teams who want to save a life in the critical minutes before EMS arrives.

What You'll Learn

By the end of this class, you will…

Identify life-threatening bleeding in seconds

Apply a tourniquet to an arm or leg with one hand if needed

Pack a junctional wound with hemostatic gauze

Manage shock and keep an injured person conscious until EMS arrives

Build a kit appropriate for your daily carry, range bag, or vehicle

Coach a bystander through helping you while you treat
